Where it struggles
Inpainting predicts; it does not know. It is at its weakest when:

If the background behind the mark was texture, wall, sky, grass, fabric, water, expect a clean result. If it was structure, expect to check it.
Resolution isn't the limit either way: a 4K photo goes through the same brush and comes back the same size; the 40 MB cap is about file size, not pixel count.
