A screenshot-specific quirk: compression
A screenshot saved as JPG can pick up soft, blocky artefacts right around sharp edges like text or a logo outline. That can make the exact paint line matter more than on a clean photo, slightly overpainting the edge helps, and can leave a very faint fringe on close inspection where a photo wouldn't. A PNG screenshot doesn't have this problem, since PNG is lossless.
