- Crop. Removes the mark by removing part of your photo with it. Fine if the watermark sits right at an edge, useless if it's in the middle.

When AI inpainting wins, and when it doesn't
- Plain or textured backgrounds, sky, a wall, grass, fabric, a smooth gradient, the model has plenty of surrounding pixels to work from, and the result is genuinely hard to spot.
- Faces, fine text, and busy detail, the model has to invent detail it cannot verify, and a trace is more likely to remain. This is a limit of the technique itself, not just this implementation, every AI inpainting tool, paid ones included, hits the same wall.
- A mark that covers most of the photo, you're asking it to invent the picture. No AI tool gets past that; find a cleaner source image instead.
